Where do you come from, and what is your profession?

I am Gary Huang, from Perth, Western Australia, and I am a physiotherapist.

How did you find out about ISICO and the Online Scoliosis Master Course?

I came to know the course from the owner of the company where I am working, Lisa Zorzi. She did this course about 10 years ago.

How is the rehabilitation treatment of spine diseases managed in your country?

Patients can visit allied health professionals directly, but they will usually go to see a general practitioner (GP) first and let the GP direct them to who to see and where to go.

Scoliosis: how is it treated?

Parents will go to see a GP and then be referred on either the public system or directly to us (Perth Scoliosis Clinic) to manage.

What aspects of actual clinical practice would you like to see improved in your country?

We are lucky enough to have access to EOS in Western Australia, but the radiology clinic doesn't provide reliable measurements and reports.

What aspects of actual clinical practice would you like to see improved in your country?

I would like to see improved knowledge and experience from everyone! I use a lot of the information from this course to educate my patients.
